Butch could not have been more accommodating. We decided to go to the outer banks on less than a days notice, and were lucky to find myLagoon. The house was very clean, well appointed, and SO convenient to the beach. Our dogs loved it, we loved it, and only regret the brevity of our stay.

We made a last minute decision to go on vacation to the Outer Banks. We had never been there before but knew from friends that it was a great vacation spot. With only three days before vacation I found a vacancy at My Lagoon so I booked it. We were very impressed with the cottage and accommodations. Butch and Brenda were there and we very much appreciated their hospitality and insights to the area. The cottage was convenient to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and other touristy pleasures. We will definitely return to the Outer Banks and My Lagoon will no doubt be a top consideration in the planning.

We had a very nice time at My Lagoon. It was so nice to meet the owner, Butch, during our stay. He was super nice! He made sure that everything was fine and was available to us if we needed him for anything. The condo was very nice and clean. It really felt like a home away from home. Very cozy.
The location couldn't have been better.(well except if it was oceanfront)...but it was so close to everything and the beach access was right across the street! My lagoon is very close to the main road, but it didn't feel like it. There was no noise or traffic. Awesome, highly recommend!

Our first trip to Nags Head & it was wonderful. The cottage was a perfect choice for a family of three (with a dog). We loved the beach access across the street. The private showers were great. Our 11 year old son really liked the location too. Perfect. We had many restaurants to choose from. The cottage was very clean, HBO was included with the cable, so that was a bonus. We would rent from Butch again and plan on going back. Thank you!

I came to stay at My Lagoon over the 4th of July week this year and LOVED it. The condo was adorable, the weather was gorgeous, and the hosts were phenomenal. Thanks so much Butch - I would love to come back!

We visited My Lagoon July 11-17th and we had a wonderful time. It was our first family vacation and it was so nice to be able to bring our dogs with us! My daughter had a great time at the beach and the house was perfect, very cozy. Butch you were very helpful and we appreciated you taking the time to introduce yourself and ask if we were enjoying our time. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed at My Lagoon Cottage house. The location is great and the house stays cool. That we had a pleasant stay, it is small but convenient for one family. We've been going to the Outer banks for 10 years now and this is one of the best locations we've seen yet with beach access directly in front of the home.It's perfect. Thanks Butch for your warm hospitality and great cottage! Hope to come back to My Lagoon again next year!

Butch and Brenda, Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. My family and I along with my daughter's dog enjoyed our stay very much. I regret we had to leave unexpectantly. We stayed in My Lagoon #2. It was neat and clean and was very much like home. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations and other suggestions. Both of you were a joy to meet and talk with. The location was convenient to so many things and Allen and I felt like we were in the original Nags Head that we remember when we were first married over 30 years ago. We stayed at the lagoon from June 26- July 3. It was so nice and peaceful. We were right at everything we needed. Everyone was so nice... it was like we were staying with family. We will stay at My Lagoon again next year. If your looking for a nice clean place to stay you should stay here!!

Stayed over a holiday weekend and everything was perfect. I am always worried about getting to a place and things being other than as described but not the case here. Everything was exactly as listed and in great condition. No reason to worry about this place and I will stay there again in the future. Great place at a great price and Butch is very easy to work with. Very nice place!

We LOVED staying at the Cottage # 1 of My Lagoon. Very clean, quiet, beautiful location right across from the beach, and very welcoming. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and we felt like we were at home.

the cottage was very nice and clean .I brought my mother,uncle ,brother and nephew and his girlfriend. We went on a fishing chater caught many small mackeraland flounders the ocean was beautiful and clear ,thank god no signs of the oil slick anywhere,we also enjoyed the pristine beach the water temperture was cold but clear kite flying at it"s best.Butch was gracious and accomadating we thank you for everything.We would love to return in the future

We stayed at My Lagoon for 3 nights and had a great time. Butch and his wife Brenda were very helpful, the restaurants were great and the weather was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more, and if we return to Nags Head then we will be staying at My Lagoon.

We stayed for two nights at My Lagoon and it was wonderful! My husband and I went with another couple and we had plenty of room. We were so excited that my lagoon took pets and we brought our Boxer, Remy and he loved it. The cottage is in the perfect location, close to everything! The hot tub was really nice and having the outdoor shower was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make dinner. Butch was super helpful and gave some wonderful restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend My Lagoon. Hopefully we will be able to make it back there soon.

We spent 4 fabulous days in Nags Head and were thrilled by our decision to stay at My Lagoon! The cute cottage had all the amenities you need for a beach getaway, and the deck jacuzzi was a perfect way to end the day! Can't beat the location...minutes from the beach, shopping, restaurants. Butch was very helpful and accomodating. Thank you so much!

We stayed at My Lagoon for the first time August 22nd for a week. The entire family with three kids, ages 12, 13, and 16 plus our two dogs. We loved My Lagoon. Our cottage was clean, beautifully decorated. Each room had a TV and the living room had a flat screen TV. Plenty of room for all five of us. Location was a ten! Right across the street from the outlet, Wright Brothers close by, Jockey Ridge, putt-putt golf, plenty of restaurants to choose. The outside shower was great when you came back from the beach. The beach was beautiful. Time went slow for us in Nags Head. Mike the Manager was super as he loaned us some flashlights. Butch was so nice. My son't favorite memory from the summer is spending the week in Nags Head at the beach.

We are going back for more next summer. It was the best! Thank You again Butch and Mike.

p.s. We left our barb-que equipment and it was mailed back to us! What great people.

My Lagoon was the perfect get away for myself and my dog. The cottage is clean, cute and has every accommodation you could possibly want including the most excellent air conditioning. Best of all the cottage is a short walk to one of the most beautiful (and dog-friendly) beaches. That means starting each day with a walk on the beach and ending each with a walk on the beach. To me that's paradise. Butch and Mike are excellent hosts - extremely hospitable. I'd stay at My Lagoon again in a heartbeat!

We totally enjoyed staying at My Lagoon. The condo is tastefully decorated, the outside shower was a plus as well as the laundry room. All your necessities are at your fingertips at my lagoon...it's home away from home. We had 4 adults ,2 children and a dog and we never felt cramped. Having t.v.s in all the rooms was great and so was the hot tub. Mike and Lisa were very helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome there. There is lots to do in the area. We spent most of our time on the beach, but when it rained there was plenty of places to go...My favorite was the outlet mall located right across the street. Butch, thank you and we'll definitly be back.

I ended up renting a different place in OBX, because I needed just one more bedroom. But I can't speak highly enough of My Lagoon's proprietor, Butch Stone. I must have looked at and/or called 25 different places, often leaving messages or emails that were never returned. Butch took the time to call me personally, answered all my questions, and worked hard to put together a rental package that would work for me. Thank you, Butch. Hope to see you next year at My Lagoon.

August 1st-8th 2009

It was our first trip to the OBX and it certainly won't be our last! After our looooong drive down, it was such a comfort for us to arrive at an exceptionally clean & friendly condo. Mike, Butch and Brenda were always available for suggestions. We miss it already!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo had been nicely updated and featured a flat screen tv in the living room. The computer access was a big hit with all of us! The location is great for both the beach and shopping. We like the beach much better at this end of Nags Head! We had a great time!

What a wonderful and beautiful place!!! Nags Head was an ideal location for a single mom and 3 (yes I said 3) 14 year olds!!! Butch could not have been more accomodating and the on site managers (Mike and Lisa) were so wonderful!! I cannot give enough positive endorsements for this place!!! The outside shower was a new and wonderful experience for all of us!! If you are into the ultra luxurious vacation, this is not for you, but for those who are adventurous and want a good quality vacation, you've found it here!!! I can't wait to make a return visit! Oh yeah, get there early saturday morning to avoid the traffic into the Outer Banks. We even left late friday night to avoid the morning traffic out!!! For me, safety was NEVER an issue!! I even left my car unlocked and wasn't worried at all!! The weather could have been a bit better (a lot of rain) but you could get that anywhere.... Thank you Butch for a very wonderful and memorable vacation!!!

Great location. Right across from the beach!! Near food, Tanger and shopping, and a quick ride to Manteo, Kill Devil Hills, Wright Brothers, and other popular spots. The condo was perfect for our family of 3. Cozy, clean, comfy, and convenient. Nice perks with the flat screens, surround sound, computer and hot tub. the condo is like new for all the renovations and upfitting, new appliances, fans, and fresh style. It's super easy to take our little dog out with the large grassy area right behind the unit. We had a great time.

Excellent!! The location, size, accommodations ~ all of it. We truly enjoyed our vacation here. Worth every penny and this rental was of the less expensive ones you find and GREAT! Right across the beach (the exact sort of beach a family looks for: space and waves), close to all other needs and amenities. The managers and owners, so cool, all real salt of the earth people. Only thing, so difficult to leave, but we'll definitely do this again
